    Features

    • Payload CMS 3 plugin that shows a project's collections, globals, links, fields, hooks and access rules as an interactive diagram, at /admin/schema for the users the access option allows
    • Graph view grouped by admin group, with relationship, upload and join links, and a searchable, sortable list view
    • Detail panel with the field tree, links in and out, hooks in the order Payload runs them, and access rules per operation, with a breadcrumb trail
    • Access matrix of roles × collections × operations, and "View as role", which fades what a role cannot read
    • tagAccess() (also as @freefoote/payload-schema-explorer/access, safe for client code) to say which roles an access rule lets through; untagged rules show as Payload default, public, denied or custom
    • Hook and rule names, TSDoc summaries and file:line from a committed annotations file, written by pnpm payload schema-explorer:export and checked with --check
    • Standalone export: --html writes the viewer and model as one self-contained HTML file, --json the model only, and --hide-source leaves out source paths

    Installing

    Add to the project's .npmrc:

    @freefoote:registry=https://git.freefoote.net/api/packages/open-source/npm/

    then pnpm add @freefoote/payload-schema-explorer. See the README for setup.
